MeLange Minerals are pure, natural, healthy cosmetics for your skin.

Mineral makeup is made from natural pigments that occur in nature. Once these natural pigments are mined from the earth, they are purified and combined to produce various shades of color, textures and degrees of shimmer. At MeLange, we take combinations of these natural pigment minerals, and micro-blend them to produce all of our color cosmetics.

MeLange Mineral Makeup delivers excellent coverage, a healthy radiant glow and a flawless finish.

Mineral foundations are so light on the skin that they allow your skin to breathe, there is not a heavy makeup feel, they do not clog pores and they reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. MeLange Minerals are suggested for all skin types, whether you have oily, dry, combination, problem skin, or uneven skin tone.

Mineral makeup is gentle enough for use on sensitive skin, rosacea, acne prone skin, and post-laser redness, and to top it all off, dermatologists recommend the use of mineral cosmetics to their patients. Our cosmetics do not contain irritating fillers, talc or binding ingredients; no oils, fragrances or synthetic colors/dyes.

The ingredient benefits of MeLange Mineral Cosmetics are:

• Titanium Dioxide is a natural sunscreen for UVB and UVA rays.
• Zinc Oxide is a natural sunscreen agent, antiseptic, and astringent.
• Grapefruit Seed Extract is a natural biocide, preventing growth of yeasts, molds and bacteria, from cross contamination.
• Iron Oxides provide color.
• Mica reflects light to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Ultramarines provide color.

MeLange Minerals do not contain Bismuth Oxychloride, an ingredient that is used heavily by the majority of mineral makeup companies. This ingredient gives most mineral foundations that "shiny/glowy" look and has been known to cause minor skin and eye irritations.

MeLange Makeup will give you a soft focus finish, from our light reflecting minerals, to help minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles, without the shine or irritation! The mica we use in our mineral foundation formula is highly micronized, non-glimmering/sparkling mica powder, which allows for a soft, silky texture, yet, it does not produce a shiny appearance.

Because mineral makeup powders are made with inert, inorganic, dry ingredients, they do not support the growth of bacteria. However, we at MeLange are always thinking ahead! For those among us mineral lovers who do not clean their application brushes on a regular basis, we have added Grapefruit Seed Extract to our formula.
